#AMIGApril is a month-long chain raid event on Twitch to promote gaming on the Amiga platform. In short we use #AMIGApril in the title and tags when we stream Amiga during April and raid out to other streamers who are doing the same thing. We aim to help people meet new people, to help viewers find streamers they like but don’t yet know of, and to spread the Amiga joy message!
If you want to participate, you can just do it on your own by using the tag but if you’d like to be featured on the list on this site, fill up the registration form or hit me up on Twitch (retroDemiurgi) or Discord (demiurgi). You can also discuss #AMIGApril on the AmigaLive Discord server’s #AMIGApril channel. You can see a list of the streamers who have signed up so far on the bottom of the page. We did a similar event for August called… #AMIGAugust.

Competition/Challenges
In addition to chaining raids we offer a little optional challenge competition to those interested. You can see the challenges for the 2025 AMIGApril in the table below. Points are weighted based on difficulty and time it takes to complete the challenge. Experiences may vary but it’s all subjective and for fun anyway! For high score challenges you got 4 points for first place at the end of the month, 3 points for 2nd place, 2 points for 3rd and 1 point for 4th and 5th. If you were the only person to complete a non-hi-score challenge, you got an extra point for it!
Trainers, cheats, save states and such can’t be used when completing challenges but they are allowed for practicing. If the goal is beating a level, it means you also have to get there starting from the beginning unless for example a password is provided for the challenge. Additionally, for high score challenges endless enemy spawning or any other kind of point milking is not permitted. Post your achievements on the AmigaLive Discord server’s #AMIGApril channel. The 2025 competition will last until April 30st midnight UTC. Scoresheet here.
